• Check-in time is any time after 4:00 PM. Self check-in with a keypad door lock. Early check-in is occasionally possible if there are no guests departing on the morning of your arrival. Contact the owner in advance to check possibility.
• Check-out time is no later than 10:00 AM. Our cleaning crew cannot accommodate late check-outs. 

Yes, there is free parking
for 4 compact cars in the driveway and 1 vehicle in an additional designated
parking area. Please note there is absolutely NO parking allowed on the private
road (strictly enforced) to give easy access to emergency vehicles. The garage
is off-limits to guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with any cookware and utensils you might need to prepare a meal. We supply starter kits of coffee, creamer, sugar, spices, 2 rolls of paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent and 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom to get you started.

There are several places to grocery shop including the Walmart Super Center located at 270 Walmart Way, Dahlonega GA 30533. There are also several Dollar Generals nearby and specialty stores such as the Dahlonega General Store, located in town.

Yes, our high-speed WiFi is free and is password-protected. However, since we are in the mountains surrounded by trees, sometimes WiFi is spotty and not 100% reliable especially when the weather is not good. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control.

Yes, we have a total of 7 streaming-capable large screen smart TV’s. Streaming services are available with guests’ personal accounts.

Yes, exterior cameras on front and side of the house. Please note that tampering with cameras or WiFi will result in immediate termination of your stay without any refund.

There are various risks at the lodge, including breakables at low levels and multiple staircases, ledges and railings, therefore, making the lodge unsuitable for children. However, we are dog-friendly so if you consider your dog your child, we would love for them to join you!

We love our fur babies and therefore, a maximum of 2 small dogs (up to 15 lbs each) are allowed in the home. No other animals are permitted! Please be sure to let us know the breed, weight and height of your pooches. The non-refundable pet fee is $250 per dog. Please refer to our Dog Booking Terms.

Yes, to stay in our luxury home, there is a $1,000 damage deposit which is 100% refundable if there are no damages and/or no rules were broken. After our manager has inspected the premises, any monies due back to you will be refunded within two weeks.

No. Sunset View Lodge is smoke free and vape-free. This restriction is strictly enforced. It should go without saying that illegal drugs are also prohibited on our property. You may smoke outside; please use the ashtrays provided.

We do not provide a fire pit… we prioritize the safety of our guests and take forest fire hazards here in the mountains extremely seriously.

• No refund if cancellation is within 15 days prior to arrival date
